The B-29 ‘Doc’ is a symbol of Wichita, the Air Capital of the World. ‘Doc’ and many other aircraft built here, signify the freedom and spirit that was a major part of Wichita as an aviation manufacturing center. Within the near future, ‘Doc’ will have a ‘home’ hanger at Eisenhower National Airport with a history and education center to be a main focus that all visitors will enjoy and long remember.
