‘Doc’s Friends’ will enjoy seeing and hearing the story again that they all were such a big part of. Here it is, the CBS Sunday Morning Report from last year by Lee Cowan. We can relive again, the story of how a B-29 named ‘Doc,’ was rescued from a California boneyard. The volunteers and veterans who helped launch ‘Doc’ back into the skies all lived a very special moment, including Charles Chauncey (Chaunce) a Wichita native and former B-29 pilot during WWII.
