Aviation traffic has grown exponentially since the utilization of aviation became of major use commercially, militarily and for personal enjoyment. This demands certain rules and organization be adopted to manage this traffic in cooperation with global countries. Behind any commercial flight is centuries of political negotiations and accords that dictate who, how, and where airlines/aircraft can fly.
