The Young Eagles program has been a memorable experience for over 1,000 students from Wichita West High School since 1995.
Each year in the fall the Wichita Kansas Chapter #88 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) has flown 100 + 9th grade students who were a part of the Career Pathways Program, a school within a school at West High. Since the Pathways mission is to expose and prepare students for careers in aviation, manufacturing, business and health, this partnership with EAA has provided a very real and rewarding experience for these students, many who had not ever been out of West Wichita, much less up in an airplane.
Appreciative thanks are extended to the local EAA Chapter #88 for this awesome experience.
