Russian President Vladimir Putin has been hardening his rhetoric over the situation in Ukraine. Putin said the conflict in Donbas, the eastern side of Ukraine ‘looks like genocide’. Moscow’s military build-up on the border continues despite warnings from US and NATO allies. According to US intelligence reports, Russia already has up to 100,000 troops positioned close to the Ukraine border. Reports say the troops are armed with a large number of tanks and artillery.
