RAND Corporation researchers present an overview of their key findings on hypersonic missiles. Originally posted over two years ago, the content is something that we wanted to ensure that the vast majority of public have an opportunity to reintroduce into their awareness. The main difference is to be very aware that since this was originally introduced, the U.S. has made significant technological advances in this field of hypersonic warefare. This class of military threat is capable of traveling and ‘maneuvering’ faster than 5,000 kilometers per hour. Obviously this missile should be used as a deterrent.
