Kansas is not immune to drug trafficking as has been reported on occasion by the news media. Stories of drugs being discovered coming in to the state by trucks vans and even light aircraft. Especially aircraft landing at night at an uncontrolled airfield. A few years ago, an acquantance who owned such an airfield had reported such incidents in Wichita at night along with other foreign visitors inspecting his airfield in the daytime. I was told that they were chased off the field.
