The Kansas Aviation Museum is planning a cross-country aviation heritage bus tour that will serve as a benefit fundraiser for the museum. The trip, hosted by Executive Director Lon Smith and his wife Sherri, will focus on visitation of well known aviation museums such as the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, the National Air & Space Museums and the Beechcraft Heritage Museum with stops at lesser known aviation hotspots and other attractions along the way. The tour will depart the Kansas Aviation Museum June 16th, 2011 and return on the 24th of the same month. Secure parking is available at the museum for your convenience.
Cost for the bus tour is $1504 per person for double occupancy and $1970 for single. In each case, $275 dollars per person is tax deductable. In addition, this fee does include fifteen meals during the trip. A $500 deposit is due at the time of reservation and the balance is due two weeks prior to departure.
