On September 22nd, 1979 the sensors aboard the US Vela Satellite picked up a distinctive signal from somewhere in the vast expanse of the South Atlantic ocean. (Dard Docs) It was a mysterious “double flash” of blinding light. As Editor of this website, I too witnessed such an occurrence in the 1990’s. Upon reporting this event, it was suggested to me to engage in further research. Further info is being suppressed until a later date.
