The U.S. is set to offer a deal to sign a ten-year India-U.S. Defence Framework. The U.S. would offer the Textron Airland Scorpion to the Indian Air Force, which is in want of an intermediate jet. The Scorpion is designed to perform light attack and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) duties.
